Hello to a sparkling clean memobottle!

We've compiled the best cleaning methods for your memobottle and Silicone Sleeves - as tested by us and you.

Ways to clean your memobottle (Original and Stainless Steel):

  • Wash with a solution of hot water, and either detergent or vinegar, shake it up, and let it soak before rinsing. Please take note that memobottles are not insulated and can be hot to touch so please exercise caution when using hot water.
  • A bottle brush/wire bristle brush works also. You can twist the wire as needed to reach the bottom and sides of the bottle. When cleaning the Original memobottle, soft bristles are preferred to avoid scratching the interior of the bottle.
  • Memobottle Cleaning Tablets are also available for an extra deep clean - with no scrubbing required

On top of this, we recommend rinsing daily and topping up with fresh water to avoid any build-up, especially if filled with coloured/flavoured drinks. For other beverages, we advise washing out the bottles more frequently to avoid discolouration.

How to use the memobottle Cleaning Tablets:

  • Fill the bottle with warm water.
  • Drop in cleaning tablet/s and leave the lid off to avoid any potential damage. For optimal cleaning, use one tablet per 250 ml/9 oz. Below is a guide on how many tablets are recommended for each memobottle size:
A5  4 tablets
Slim 3 tablets
A6 2 tablets
A7 1 tablet
  • Leave for 20 minutes or until the tablet is fully dissolved.
  • Empty and thoroughly rinse your bottle with water.

How to clean your memobottle Lid (Original and Stainless Steel versions):

Wipe the Lid with a clean towel or tissue. To clean the seal, simply remove it if needed. Use a thin, non-serrated tool like a butter knife or teaspoon to gently flick it out and gently place it back to use as normal.

How to clean your Silicone Sleeve:

Our Silicone Sleeves feature a dust-proof and oil-based coating that prevents dust from sticking and accumulating on the surface.

We recommend wiping the Silicone Sleeves with a damp cloth. Washing the sleeves with detergent or scrubbing it with an abrasive sponge may scratch the surface or remove the dust-resistant coating.

Gentle reminders:

  • Unless stated otherwise, Memobottle products are not safe for the dishwasher. Dishwashers use harsh abrasives and chemicals that can damage our products, and leave watermarks that might be hard to remove.
  • memobottles can hold up to 100° Celsius/212° Fahrenheit so you can clean your bottles with boiling water. Please do so cautiously as your memobottle with hot liquids will make it hot to touch, just like any other non-insulated bottle and container.
